What is topsoil?

What is the difference between topsoil and soil conditioner?

Topsoil is used to build or replace soil, while soil conditioner is used to improve the quality of existing soil. For best results, they are often used together.

Can I use soil conditioner on its own?

No. Soil conditioner should be mixed into existing soil or topsoil. It does not provide enough structure to be used alone.

What is lawn topsoil?

Lawn topsoil is a finer, screened soil designed specifically for creating smooth, level lawn surfaces and supporting healthy grass growth.

Which turf dressing mix should I choose?

  • 50/50 – General lawn improvement

  • 60/40 – Improved drainage for heavier soils

  • 70/30 – Maximum drainage for clay or compacted soils

What is ornamental bark used for?
